A Multilingual website provides content in more than one language. You can set up a multilingual WordPress website with a great plugin known as Polylang, there are a couple of ways that to create multilingual sites but this is one method.
This guide looks at setting up a multilingual website with a free plugin maintained by plugin author, first thing is to make sure the WordPress theme is Internationalised. It means that your theme is translation ready for multiple languages. We will use BusiProf theme. It is complete translation ready that’s why we are using BusiProf theme in this article.
1. Installing the Polylang Plugin
Download and install Polylang activate it or you can install Polylang plugin from the WordPress site dashboard. It is very easy steps. Refer the screenshot.
2. Setting up Polylang Plugin
Go to Settings > Languages to add your desired languages.
From the Languages tab, Select your desired language from the drop-down below “Add New Language”. Currently, I am adding two languages, first one is English and second one is Spanish. You can add more languages to your requirement. Refer the screenshot.
