You can add/update Featured and Content image Alt & Title text using the below settings:

  • Alt attribute value: You can add/update the image Alt text using predefined values like %name, %title, %category, and %tags.
    • %name: It will insert the %name then the image name will be shown in the image Alt text.
    • %title: It will insert the %titlet then the post title will be shown in the image Alt text.
    • %category: It will insert the %category then the post categories will be shown in the image Alt text.
    • %tags:  It will insert the %tags then the post tags will be shown in the image Alt text.
  • Override existing alt tag: If you want to override the existing Alt text value of the image then you need to select the YES option.
  • Title attribute value: You can add/update the image Title text using predefined values like %name, %title, %category, and %tags. The title attribute will be dynamically replaced by the given values.
  • Override existing title tag: If you want to override the existing Title text value of the image then you need to select the YES option.

Additional Features

  • Exclude Feature Images: Check this option if you didn’t want to override all Alt & Title attribute text of featured images.
  • Exclude Content Images: Check this option if you didn’t want to override all Alt & Title attribute text of content (coming from the editor) images.
  • Override alt and title attributes of feature/thumbnail images: If you want to optimize post/page thumbnail images or want to make SEO-friendly images then you need to select the YES option.
